The-Art-Space
The-Art-Space is Digital-Rebirth's most ambitious undertaking to date. What began as a commission for a personal gallery quickly bloomed into a full-fledged Artist's Social Network project. The site features user-contributed galleries, and users can participate in many social features including befriending other users and commenting on their work. (View Screenshot 1, 2)
For this project, DR staff...
- Designed a custom graphics layout to client specifications
- Sliced the visual design into workable layout images
- Created a custom phpBB3 and CubeCart skin from the site design
- HTML coded a page template for the client's content
- Programmed PHP functions for dynamic page functinality
- Created a personalized site management system for easy site administration
- Programmed a custom social network system complete with user galleries, profiles, and merchant abilities
- Designed an Adobe Flash-based image editor for turning plain text into formatted images
- Installed 3rd party software including phpBB3 and CubeCart
- Integrated the shop and forum software into the main site pages and functions for a more cohesive site presentation
- Integrated the site's social network into a Facebook application (read commission above)

Brighten the Night
The Brighten the Night Lights commission in itself was not a full website, however, we are still honored to have contributed the site's quote estimator. Customers originally had to contact the client and await a response regarding service and product prices. Now, customers simply fill out a form to receive their price quote immediately.

The R-Tyst World blog site is a personal webpage featuring user profile info, a journal, and a personal gallery. The site makes use of a custom-designed journal system which plugs into the main site CMS making the site easy to manage and maintain.
