BlueDude6 Parody Productions
The BlueDude6 Parody Productions site is very similar to the Studio 601 site in that both sites feature movie galleries and article libraries. The BlueDude6 site differs, however, in its thorough integration with the site's forum and gallery. In areas where the Studio 601 site required a custom CMS to manage users and content, the BlueDude6 site runs these through the forum instead. This integration provides a more cohesive and socially functional experience throughout the site as users gain the ability to discuss and build onto on normally static content. (View Site)
For this project, DR staff...
- Designed a custom graphics layout to client specifications
- Sliced the visual design into workable layout images
- HTML coded a page template for the client's content
- Programmed PHP functions for dynamic page functinality
- Customized the forum skin and gallery software template to better link to the main site
- Installed 3rd party software including a phpBB3 forum and a Gallery2 album system
- Integrated the forum and photo album software into the main site pages and functions for a more cohesive site presentation
